Recent government legislation has made the purchasing of scrap metal by cash an offence; this legislation is designed to make it more difficult for unscrupulous persons who have been making money by selling illegally obtained metal.

At Bennett Bros we have always been meticulous in our dealings, and we welcome the new regulations as they protect not just the consumer, but the industry as a whole. We hold the correct licences to enable us to purchase scrap metal and vehicles, and we are committed to providing the very best service for our customers.

As we can no longer provide payments in cash, we offer the following methods of payment, and endeavour to make sure that you get your payment in the quickest time possible, whichever method you choose.

• Cheque
• Same day transfer into your bank account (usually processed within 10 minutes)
• Prepaid KYC cards – these can be used in the same way as a debit card to pay for goods or withdraw cash from an ATM
